Sun Life named one of the 2020 Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World
For the 11th consecutive year, Sun Life has been recognized by Corporate Knights as one of the worlds 100 most sustainable corporations. Corporate Knights is a Toronto-based media and investment research firm with one of largest circulating magazines focused on business, society and clean capitalism.
Using key performance indicators like resource, employee and financial management and clean revenue and supplier performance, Corporate Knights assessed over 7,000+ companies with more than US$1 billion in revenues, narrowing it down to the top 100 performers. Inclusion in this ranking is testament to Sun Life’s rigorous sustainability practices pertaining to carbon productivity, clean revenue and board gender diversity.
Sun Life named one of Canada’s Best 50 Corporate Citizens
Corporate Knights magazine has once again included Sun Life on its list of the Best 50 Corporate Citizens in Canada. The 2020 edition places Sun Life 19th overall. Sun Life has appeared on the annual ranking 15 of the 19 years since its inception.
