PASHA Insurance Company and the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan jointly organized the ” Birincilər” project to support education in the regions.

In frames of thus project, a series of events were held to present school sets to children of low-income families to attend the 1st grade this year living in the regions. As part of charity events in Gabala, Oguz, Sheki, Gakh, Zagatala and Balakan districts, PASHA Holding and PASHA Insurance volunteers presented school uniforms and school supplies to about 700 children. During these events, held on the eve of the new school year, an entertaining program was organized, which brought joy and interest to children.

It is planned to continue such initiatives in the future, which will contribute to education and the welfare of society in the country.

PASHA Holding’s another project within Corporate Social Responsibility

another project within the framework of Corporate Social Responsibility was successfully implemented with the joint participation of employees of PASHA Holding and PASHA Insurance.

The main objective of the project was to present school uniforms, handbags and textbooks to the children of low-income families to attend the 1st grade this year, living in northern regions. Within the project, school uniforms and school supplies were given to 350 pupils during the festival organized for schoolchildren in Guba, Gusar, Khachmaz and Shabran cities.

It should be noted that the event was held with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The Corporate Social Responsibility team plans to continually implement similar activities in the following years.

PASHA Group held another tree planting campaign

with the participation of PASHA Group employees another tree planting campaign within the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program took place.

A total of 90 volunteers from PASHA Holding, Kapital Bank, PASHA Bank, PASHA Insurance, PASHA Life Insurance and PASHA Travel participated in this activity. As part of the campaign, 2,000 olive seedlings were planted on 2 hectares in Gala settlement.

“On behalf of the Holding’s management and on my own behalf, I would like to thank all the colleagues for their active participation in such events aimed at protecting the environment and strengthening the sense of care for nature” said Nazim Safarov, Director of Government Relations and CSR Department of PASHA Holding.

It should be noted that 600 trees were planted last year in Shikhov settlement of Baku with the participation of 70 colleagues representing PASHA Group within the framework of this traditional event.

Coastal Cleanup event held at Novkhani beach

PASHA Holding, with the support of volunteers from PASHA Group companies, conducted another coastal cleanup activity at Novkhani Beach. About 50 employees from Kapital Bank, PASHA Bank, PASHA Insurance, PASHA Life Insurance, PASHA Travel and FMG took part in the activity dedicated to the opening of the beach season.

As part of the campaign, volunteers, equipped with the necessary sanitary equipment, cleared the coastal area and ensured the installation there of special umbrellas.

It should be noted that the main purpose of the activity is to promote adherence to the cleanliness on the coast and to prevent the littering of coastal areas with household waste.

PASHA Group held a tree planting campaign

PASHA Group organized a tree planting campaign under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. Employees of PASHA Holding, Kapital Bank, PASHA Insurance, PASHA Life Insurance and PASHA Travel participated in the action, involving 70 volunteers. 600 trees were planted at the ecological event in Shikhov settlement.

Notably, 1 tree gives 120 kilograms of oxygen to the atmosphere throughout the year. 600 trees give enough oxygen to breathe 1800 people a year. It is intended to constantly hold such tree planting campaigns in the future, contributing to the protection of the environment and increase of green areas.

Coastal Cleanup event held at Goradil beach

Coastal Cleanup event was held at Goradil beach with joint participation of employees of PASHA Holding, PASHA Insurance, PASHA Bank, Kapital Bank and other PASHA Group companies. The main objective of the event is to promote cleaning of coastal area and beaches care. 40 employees, including PASHA Holding CEO Mir Jamal Pashayev participated in the Coastal Cleanup event. As a result of joint efforts, the beach area was cleaned of approximately 500 kg of garbage and waste and handed over to Tamiz Shahar JSC’s waste plant.

CEO of PASHA Holding, Mir Jamal Pashayev, noted that such events will be continuous and held in the coming years, stressing that it is desirable to attract more volunteers to the events.
