Bahrain-based Gulf Aluminium Rolling Mill (GARMCO) is the first and one of the largest downstream aluminium facilities in the Middle East for rolling, cutting and fabricating aluminium.

As the first aluminium rolling mill in the Middle East, GARMCO pioneered the development of Bahrain’s downstream aluminium industry. Today, as a leading manufacturer with an annual turnover of US$ 450 million, the Company continues to contribute to the ongoing industrial diversification of the Kingdom’s economy.

GARMCO also supports the economy of Bahrain through its exports, with over 75 per cent of exports going to outside the GCC. The MENA region constitutes the Group’s strongest market, followed by the USA, Europe, Singapore and Australia.

GARMCO supports the development of the regional aluminium industry through its membership of the Gulf Aluminium Council, and sponsorship of major industry events such as ARABAL – the annual Arab International Aluminium Conference. ARABAL is the premium trade event for the Middle East’s aluminium industry, and the only conference in the world to be attended by every single primary aluminium manufacturer in the region.
