In addition to supporting Minor Hotels’ social and environmental projects, NIYAMA creates and participates in a number of initiatives in the vicinity of our hotels. Selected projects include:

Adopt-a-Coral

Since the launch of our coral reef rehabilitation project, our guests, in collaboration with our resident marine biologists, have planted thousands of corals in our house reef, enriching the underwater habitats of the Maldives.

Kudahuvadhoo School

We provide resource support and educational outreach trips for a local Maldivian school. Activities have included field trips to NIYAMA, including visits to its Explorers kids club and tours of the island.
