CSR Hershey Malaysia Collaboration with SK Taman Daya

On January 1st, 2020, CSR Hershey Malaysia partnered with SK Taman Daya to welcome new students attending school for the first time. The initiative involved 9 CSR Hershey Malaysia committee members and benefited 145 first-grade students. The program was supported by the District Education Officer as part of the School Transformation 2025 (TS25) initiative.

Many students were apprehensive about their first day of school, so the program aimed to alleviate their fears and create a comfortable environment. Alongside school teachers, CSR Hershey Malaysia committee members organized ice-breaking activities and provided positive reinforcement throughout the day.

Each student received two surprise goodie bags: one with stationery including notebooks, pencils, and a stationery case, and another Healthy Meal Bag containing apples, UHT milk, and Hershey chocolates. The students were thrilled with their gifts and affectionately referred to the CSR Hershey Malaysia committee members as “Abang Cokelat & Kakak Cokelat” (Chocolate Brothers & Sisters), making their first day truly memorable.
