We are pleased to announce that Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad has been awarded the CSR Malaysia’s Company of the Year Award for Sustainability & CSR Excellence (Plantation) in the Sustainability & CSR Malaysia Awards 2020.

Organized by CSR Malaysia, this annual awards initiative serves as a platform to honor exceptional achievers and inspirational corporations for their contributions towards creating a better Malaysia through sustainability and corporate social responsibility endeavors.

This year, CSR Malaysia recognized 41 Malaysian corporations across various industries. Recipients were chosen by a distinguished panel of judges representing corporate and social sectors. Evaluation criteria included the company’s clear objectives and goals in their CSR initiatives, as well as the impact generated and the frequency of CSR events conducted.

The award ceremony took place at a private event held on Monday, 23 November 2020, at Vivatel Kuala Lumpur, where Mr. Lee Seng Chee, Managing Director and Co-Chairman of CSR Malaysia, presented the award.
