Italian companies’ commitment to social responsibility
As much as 80% of Italian medium and large-sized companies are involved with CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiatives. This is the highest percentage ever recorded . For a total investment which reached a record figure of € 1 billion and 122 million . The activities funded are those of sustainability and safety (energy conservation, waste reduction, attention to pollution, etc …). Followed, at a short distance, from the interventions of improvement of the employees’ working conditions and the welfare. These are the findings of the VII Report of investigation by the Socialis Observatory. statistical survey on corporate social responsibility recently submitted to the Ministry of Economic Development.
